W3Counter WordPress Plugin Updated

W3Counter’s official WordPress plugin has gotten a much needed rewrite for WordPress 2.8+. You can now view your blog’s web stats within your wp-admin dashboard and add the tracking code to any sidebar as a widget.

  4. John, did you configure it under Settings > W3Counter, and add the widget to your sidebar from Appearance > Widgets? I tested it on 2.8.6 and the latest 2.9.1.

  5. Hi there!

    Excellent plugin, loving the way it presents simple and precise data!

    Just one little thing though: the stats seem to be counting my own Admin visits, and i can’t find an option/settings section where to specifiy IP addresses to ignore, nor a little box to check saying “ignore my own visits”, or something like that…Is there some twiddling to do with the code perhaps? or a soon-to-come feature?

    Your plugin looks really promising. I did the settings as well as added the tracking code as text in my sidebar. nothing’s working. Help?
