This is not fishy at all, every gold/account in game selling site ask their buyer to write this type of stuff in the details when paying, its a type of security matter to confirm 100% that it is a virtual item and prevent buyers from winning if they open a duspute(scam).

I hope you've upgraded to a Business Account (it's the same as a Premier account but with a business name set), because it gets you better support. If you do want to call, here's how: log in to PayPal, then click "Contact Us" at the bottom of the page, click "Contact Us by phone or email" in the right column, then click "Call Us" in the left menu. That'll get you the phone number for customer support.

Hey Dan, I recently sold some virtual items for a total of 1.3k dollars to the same person.
I asked him to write this in the details everytime he paid me the money:

"I will not charge back for what ever reason, this is a Virtual item."

and right after we done with the trade he opened a dispute against me and escalated it to a claim.

To resolve the issue I chose the last option in the resolving menu and i said that the buyer got his virtual goods after he paid. in the shipping address I deleted his address and I wrote "virtual item" instead.

I also attached a screen shot of my email of every transaction where he mentioned:
"I will not charge back for what ever reason, this is a Virtual item."

I dont think he called the CC company and asked to charge back because it was Friday..
but anyways, what are my chances to win?
I gonna lose so much if he gonna win..
will calling paypal costumer support might help me?

That's in agreement with what's written here, Barry. Intangible goods are not covered by the Buyer Protection Policy as I wrote. It's no joke -- PayPal cannot reasonably take either side in a dispute over intangible goods as there's no way for them to tell which side is being truthful. The buyer has all the same recourse they have if they paid through any other method -- a credit card chargeback, bank reversal, complaint to authorities or a small claims suit.

A seller that sells virtual downloads and doesn't send anything would be out of business in a week. A couple chargebacks or bank reversals and PayPal's risk department would freeze the account.

Intangible goods cannot be refunded. Where did you get this information from? it is in the user agreement that paypal cannot and will not refund intangible goods. Meaning anyone can sell virtual downloads and not actually have to send anything. It is a joke

I've had that happen. I've also had people change their mind about a purchase minutes after making it and dispute the payment without ever sending an e-mail. People act strangely sometimes.

I've had two people file complaints with PayPal over transactions with me. The first one never responded to my question about what the problem was and the other said they intended to only pay me once, but they inadvertently paid me twice so they filed a complaint!?

Both times I just refunded them as I couldn't be bothered arguing with anyone. And for the second one I would have happily refunded me if they'd just sent me an email mentioning the error but for whatever reason they decided to escalate things to a higher level.

Very annoying, but I guess PayPal couldn't do it any other way or the buyers would be placed at too much risk.
