It's the digitizer sitting between the glass and the LCD. I checked it out at Best Buy before buying it to make sure I'd be OK with it, and I don't mind. I dig the little remote hidden in the side. The first time I pressed it, not only did the laptop turn on, but my desktop turned off, and my Xbox 360 turned on. Apparently they all pick up media center remotes...
