Zune Card WordPress Plugin and Embed Code GeneratorToday the 2nd-generation Zunes are officially for sale. That means the awesome new client software is here, along with firmware updates for current Zunes. Even more exciting for a Zune owner like myself, the Zune Social site has also arrived. One feature of the site is the Zune Card, a shareable Flash widget that displays information about music I’ve recently listened to and my favorite songs. The Zune Social site provides no direct method of embedding it in another site, so I’ve created one myself. Zune owners can use my Zune Card Embed Code Generator for generating the code. WordPress bloggers can add a Zune Card to their blog with my new Zune Card WordPress Plugin. It adds a sidebar widget for new blogs, and a theme function for older blogs or themes that aren’t widget-enabled. You can see an example in my sidebar. It also supports embedding large cards: |

I got the zune last year when it first came out. Infact, I had to pay through the nose for it as I was in New Zealand at the time and had to import it.
I was happy with the original but it’s not without it’s flaws. For example, the ability to transfer a file to another zune user for only 3 plays was stupid and pointless.
I havent seen the new generation zunes as yet though. I’m not on the lookout for a new player but if I was I would maybe go with apple this time (something which I have never done before - previously had creative, iriver and iaudio)

Well that’s silly. Why would you just switch brands before looking? The Zune now has all and more features than the current generation iPod classic and costs less. CNET and all the other magazines are saying it. Update your Zune’s firmware and the only thing you’re missing is less capacity than the 80GB iPod, while having lots of features Apple doesn’t have. If you want capacity, the Zune 80 has everything and more than the iPod while costing less. And Apple still doesn’t have a subscription music service, and its DRM-free mp3s cost more.

Good Day! To use credit cards or cash is the own choice of everyone. For me it is more convenient to purchase and travel with credit cards. I carry cash very seldom because today credit cards are available almost everywhere. I am going to Spain this vacation and yesterday applied for a new credit card at

Is Zune also sold in UK? This is first time I read about this brand. If performance is the same at cheaper price, I suppose it is worth to consider.
