Democratic Debate at Drexel Tonight

October 30 1 Comment Category: Personal

Drexel University, the university I attend, is hosting the Democratic debate tonight. Brian Williams, the moderator, is broadcasting his news show from Drexel prior to the debate, then the debate itself will be held in the school’s main auditorium. There were only 250 tickets available to see it in person, and thousands that wanted them, so I wasn’t able to get one. MSNBC will be reporting live from Drexel’s Quad at 5, 7 and 11PM. Maybe I’ll check that out.

Drexel isn’t getting paid anything for the space, services and extra security they’re providing, but they’re getting tons of media coverage for it. Caught the university’s president and his daughter on MSNBC a minute ago.

  1. Just commenting on my own post to say I love all the Colbert signs people are holding up. :) You can see some of them behind Matthews on MSNBC now.
