What would we do without Woot.com?

In the past year I've purchased a Dyson Vaccum, Roomba, iPod speakers, and more. Seriously great site, especially around the holidays.

The only thing I can recommend would be the Getting Things Done book by David Allen if you haven't yet borrowed it from a library and/or read through it on your own. It's only about $10 and if you can get through it, you'd at least know what things you could possibly do (or do better) to increase productivity.

Ah, wait - you complain about not being a Designer, what about Sitepoint's two new books on design (one on CSS, the other on Design itself)? I know you know what I'm talking about so I won't quote the title or link you to it. ;) I loved the design book, even as short as it was, it was inspirational. I have the other book in my wishlist.

My most recent purchase has been a Schosche bluetooth cellphone headset (with headset charger-speakerphone in one), and the next personal purchase will be Adobe's CS3 Web Design Suite. Other than that I'll be spending a butt load of money on my move. A new bed will be grand.

I also recently bought blog marketing but I haven't read it yet. Another book I bought along with it that I did read was Defensive design. There weren't any real aha moments but i did enjoy reading it and it did make me think of some extra things I could do in the usability department. I would recommend it.
