Actually it just shows what fucking idiots the Arkansas Democrat Gazette are. To publish such a letter is an indictment against the system which produces “journalists”.

Wow… that redefines stupid.
Mobius: I’d imagine they published it with the express purpose of making that person look dumb. Besides, one could argue that equal time for dissenting opinions, no matter how stupid, is the cornerstone of responsible journalism.

That it was satire redeems it a bit. Though, I suppose he is poking fun at the anti-global warming camp. But they don’t generally throw out completely idiotic reasons for warming (with the exception of that congressman who said farts killed the dinosaurs), they generally just dismiss it out of hand with not explanations except that the research is bad. So… satire, though a bit misplaced, perhaps.
