I haven't gone into a bank in more than 10 years. I opened my checking account at Wachovia over the phone, and use an ATM for deposits and widthdrawals, and opened my ING Direct savings account online, and transfer money to and from that online.

Coinstar sucks ass. 9% out of every dollar. Bitches. Roll them up and take it to the bank. You lost more than $5 in that transaction.

I get about $75 - $120 depending on how many quarters are in my coin jar. It is surprising just how much money you can add up from a mug, jug, or jar. What percentage do they take out of your total for using the service? I think it's 10% with the one I use (last time I used it was quite some time ago, so I think they changed the deduction rate, and I am a little fuzzy on whether that percentage is correct).

I used to do that as well, but i keep my change in a good old-fashioned milk jar. When I would take it in, sometimes I'd have $200.
