Awio Website Redesign

Motivated by the success of this blog and increased advertising inquiries, I’ve finally gotten around to updating the Awio company website. I’ll never claim to be a web “designer”, so don’t be surprised to see how similar the header is to this blog.

It was about time I removed the AWS sites I sold a few months ago, the broken links, and the advertising packages I don’t sell anymore. As most of the advertising available is sold out right now, I didn’t list it at all on the advertising page, so I’ll have to expand that when I need new sponsors.

    I notice that not only is the design similar, but the website logo is practically identical (with the difference being the outside blue “shadow”). I’m curious, what exactly is the history/meaning of that logo? It’s definitely unique and simplistic, both of which make a good logo.

    I’m with you on not being a designer. Layouts and mix of colors.. that i can do. graphics? No way.

    Wow Dan… With every passing day you amaze me more and more. Wish I had thought to click on the link. I like the fact that you got all the letters of your company’s name into a simplistic logo. That’s quite ingenious. It’s funny that you got a designer award without “claiming” to be a designer. :D

    I guess when you have a steady income, you can devolop projects and make them kickass. My problem is that I have so many small projects and they all suck.
