It’s time for me to look for a job for my third and final required coop. I need 18 total months of work experience as part of my degree requirements at Drexel University.

I’ve applied to paid jobs at SAP, Microsoft and Google. All three have responded with interview offers. The resume I send out is a bit better formatted than the one on this site, and shows a good amount of experience and range of skills for a student, but I always go far beyond it in my cover letters. They’re short, half a page to three quarters of a page long, but I have a knack for getting across why I’m the right person for the job I’m applying to quite well. I rarely don’t hear back when I respond to a job listing.

I’ll be driving to SAP’s Newtown Square, PA office on Monday for an interview with them. I’ll be interviewing with two folks from Microsoft in January who will be coming to here to Drexel. I’m still scheduling two phone interviews Google wants to do with me, likely to occur some time next week.

Wish me luck, I’d love to work at any of these places, and they all seem very interested in me so far. I’ll provide an update after each interview as to what was asked and how it went.
